1. How does the DX610 Electronic Pest Control Repeller work?
The patented DX610, for rodent control, mouse control, mice control, utilizes advanced state of the art technology that works by transmitting a powerful range of ultrasonic sound waves in the 45,000 Hz range. The auto-changing, high intensity frequencies and pulse sequences were designed to output at known auditory sensitivity ranges of pests, like rats, mice. Why aren't humans or pets effected? Humans can only hear sound up to 20,000 HZ, and your pet, (dog or cat), can only hear frequencies up to 27,000 HZ. That's why your dog can hear a dog whistle and you can't.

2. Will rodents get used to the DX610 Electronic Pest Control Repeller?
The DX610 uses an auto-changing, high intensity frequency AND pulse sequence. Many rodents and insects will, in fact, either get use to, or not think it irritating enough to leave, if there is only one sound frequency (like many "copy cat", and cheaper priced pest repellers on the market today).

3. Can ultrasound be heard by rodent pets?
Yes. Households with rodent type pets such as gerbils, hamsters, or pet mice, should not place any sound wave devices in the same room that the pet inhabits.

4. How much SF will each DX610 Electronic Pest Contol Repeller cover?
In an ideal environment, the DX-610, whether for rodent control, rat or mouse control, can be measured up to a 2,000 square feet (180-230 square meters) space. An ideal environment is one that the unit is not directly blocked by furniture, draperies, or any other object. The unit should be plugged into a wall plug that is unobstructed. Soft materials like carpets, furniture, draperies can have an impact on the total coverage. Each application and customer environment will differ slightly.

5. Do I need a DX610 Electronic Pest Control Repeller for each floor and basement?     It is recommended. Though the DX610 Electronic pest control repeller has a higher frequency (45,000 HZ) than most other repellers on the market, we do recommend that you plug one into each floor for maximum performance. The effect of sound waves does diminish with distance.

6. When can I expect results?
Every environment and application is different and depends on the extent of the infestation problem, where and how the device is placed in your home, and the type of rodents or insects. It also depends on whether you employ good pest control management practices, inside and outside of your home. Whether for rodent control (mice or rats), the DX610 electronic pest control repeller can start to show significant results in just a short time period (based on customer testimonials and field tests). Please don't buy from any company that claims that their repeller works immediately. It just doesn't work that way. Once satisfactory results are achieved, we recommend that you leave the unit plugged in to maintain the results.

7. How much does the DX610 cost to operate?
The DX610's electronic pest control repeller power consumption is rated at 1.2 Watts per hour for 110 VAC and 2.4 Watts per hour for 220 VAC. Keeping the unit plugged in for 24 hours a day, 30 days a month, 12 months a year, your total cost would be less than $1.50 for 110 VAC for the entire year (less than a large cup of coffee).

8. If I can't hear the DX610, how do I know if it's still working?
The DX610 has a small red LED indicator that glows when the unit is plugged in. There is also a soft pulse sound you can hear if you are close to the unit. You will also notice an absence of mice, rats.

9. How long will the DX610 last?
The electronics of the DX610 should last at least five years. There are many units in the field that are over 7 years old.

10. What about those electromagnetic repellers I see on TV?
Electromagnetic repellers started appearing on the market just a short while ago. There are several brands that offer claims that their product changes the house wiring into a magnetic field that chases rodents and insects away. We have not seen any research that backs up these claims. Further, there is no evidence that electromagnetic energy does not affect humans or pets in some manner.

11. Can I do anything else to help get rid of the problem?
Yes. Make sure that any opening to your home are properly sealed, areas around the perimeter of your home are cleaned of debris and weeds, and the interior of your home clean. The kitchen is a primary target for rodents and insects, so keep the counters clean and all food tightly sealed. Also make sure to keep the DX610 plugged in even after you have achieved the results that you want.

12. How do I compare all of the different electronic pest control repellers on the market?
The decision is not as daunting as it seems. You just need a few points of comparison. Here is a list of consideration for you review.

(OUR STATISTICS FOR THE DX610 ARE IN BRACKETS FOR EASY REFERENCE)

1. FREQUENCY output. (40 - 45 K Hz)
The auto-changing, high intensity frequencies and pulse sequences were designed to output at known auditory sensitivity ranges of pests, like rats, mice, and spiders.

2. SOUND WAVE ROTATION (2 different sequences)
This means that the rodents and insects will have a harder time getting used to the sound. It changes in two different cycles and sequences. Most units have either no sound rotations or just one.

3. QUIETNESS (Ours is silent)
Many of the other pest repellers have an audible beeping or constant humming that may drive you out of the house instead of the insects and rodents.

4. WARRANTY (1 year manufacturers warranty for defects and a 60 day $ back guarantee if you are not happy with the results)
The majority of different types of devices are sold by companies other than the actual manufacturer so they can not offer the extended warranty. In most case, the return policy is for 30 days. We offer double the return period so you can be sure that it is effective for your paticular application and environment.
